In an effort to increase overnight visitation to Reno Tahoe lodging properties, the Reno-Sparks Convention & Visitors Authority acts as the sales and marketing arm of northern Nevada’s tourism and convention industries.

In addition, the RSCVA is a tax collection agency, responsible for the redistribution of public monies to various other governmental bodies.
