The Finance Committee of the RSCVA Board of Directors last week enacted critical budget-reducing measures. As so many local businesses have had to reduce payroll in this challenging time, the committee also took action to furlough approximately 45% of RSCVA staff positions until further notice.
With the region’s resort hotels closed, the RSCVA will continue to promote Reno Tahoe as a top travel destination. For our community, our industry, our friends, and our co-workers, we will be ready to lure travelers back to Northern Nevada, as soon as we are able. We are all in this together.
