Phil DeLonePresident and CEO
Phil DeLone is the President and CEO of the Reno-Sparks Convention & Visitors Authority. Through direction of the Board, Mr. DeLone plans, coordinates, directs, and is responsible for all activities associated with the operation of the RSCVA and its facilities. Most recently the CEO of Safari Club International, DeLone has more than 35 years of experience in tourism, sales, marketing and management, including 20 years of executive sales and management experience at Reno Tahoe hotels.
Jennifer Cunningham Executive Vice President
Jennifer Cunningham is the Executive Vice President of the RSCVA. Ms. Cunningham works closely with the CEO, executive staff, the Board of Directors and community stakeholders to develop and execute strategies relating to all aspects of the RSCVA, including sales, marketing, facilities, and legislative initiatives. With more than 30 years of experience, she has long been an integral part of the northern Nevada gaming community. Ms. Cunningham is a recipient of the American Marketing Association’s ACE Awards “Marketer of the Year” distinction, and was recently awarded the Thomas C. Wilson Lifetime Achievement Award by the American Advertising Federation’s Reno chapter.
Robert Chisel Director of Finance
Robert Chisel is the Director of Finance of the Reno-Sparks Convention & Visitors Authority, and is responsible for planning, organizing and influencing the RSCVA’s financial management activities, including accounting, room tax auditing, finance, payroll and information technology. Mr. Chisel graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno as an accounting major, with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration. A Certified Public Accountant, Chisel has three decades of experience in finance and accounting, including more than 23 years of management experience at public, governmental agencies, such as the Nevada State Industrial Insurance System and the City of Reno.
Mike LarraguetaVice President of Sales
Mike Larragueta is the Vice President of Sales for the RSCVA. Larragueta directs and mentors the RSCVA convention and leisure sales teams, while providing leadership and strategic direction in the implementation of the RSCVA’s plans, programs, goals and objectives in the convention and leisure marketplace. With more than 25 years of tourism sales experience, Larragueta was most recently the Executive Director of Sales for the “Tri Properties” of downtown Reno.
Art Jimenez Executive Director of Tourism
Art Jimenez is the Executive Director of Tourism of the RSCVA. Jimenez is responsible for leading development and implementation of the RSCVA’s international and domestic tourism sales efforts, promoting northern Nevada as a premier leisure travel destination. With more than 30 years of experience in tourism sales and marketing, Jimenez spent more than 17 years in multiple leadership positions at the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority.
Esther IsaacDirector of Marketing
Esther Isaac is the Director of Marketing of the Reno-Sparks Convention & Visitors Authority, and is responsible for developing and coordinating the communication, public information, website, creative and all marketing aspects of the RSCVA. Isaac has more than 30 years of management experience in strategic planning, advertising, sales, events and research. Isaac holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Nevada, Reno, and was named 2007 Ad Person of the Year by the American Advertising Federation of Reno.
Sheri Nill Director of Human Resources
Sheri Nill is the Director of Human Resources. With 20 years of experience as a human resources professional, Ms. Nill has spent much of her career working for industry leaders in healthcare and hospitality; HCA, Prime Healthcare (Saint Mary’s) and The Signature at MGM Las Vegas. Her expertise is in union negotiations, labor relations and employment law. She serves on the NNHRA Board of Directors as the College Relations Chair, and as the Chair for the Hospitality and Tourism program at Truckee Meadows Community College.
