RENO, Nev. (October 13, 2022) – Reno Tahoe today announced it has been recognized by the meetings and hospitality industry media publication, Meetings Today as a Best of 2022 winner in the “Best West CVBs/DMOs” category.

Meetings Today polled its audience, including industry professionals, about what they think the best facilities, destinations and convention centers are, considering their experiences within the previous year. Respondents were asked to consider quality of meeting space, guest rooms, guest services and amenities, food and beverage service, efficiency and helpfulness of the staff, availability and quality of tech, recreational facilities and activities, cleanliness and COVID-19 protocols, and overall value and experience.
Reno Tahoe is one of the top destination marketing organizations in the West, including Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, Los Angeles Tourism, Meet Hawai’i, Visit Seattle, Visit Phoenix, San Diego Tourism Authority, and Los Cabos Tourism Board. Also representing Northern Nevada, Edgewood Tahoe Resort was named one of the “Best West Hotels.”
This announcement is the second time in 2022 that Reno Tahoe has been named one of the best DMOs for meetings and events. The July issue of Smart Meetings Magazine listed Reno Tahoe as a Smart Stars winner in the “Best CVB/DMO” category, among the top 20 DMOs in the U.S.
