The Reno-Sparks Convention and Visitors Authority Board of Directors has selected Mike Larragueta to lead the organization as its new President and CEO. Mr. Larragueta is a 3rd-generation Nevadan with 30 years of experience in the travel and tourism industry, incorporating 15 years of local executive experience.
“It’s truly my honor to represent Reno Tahoe and the RSCVA,” said incoming Reno Tahoe President and CEO Mike Larragueta. “I’m grateful for the confidence of the board and for the continued support of this very talented team, who is focused on generating tourism and improving the quality of life for everyone in Northern Nevada. Reno Tahoe is my home; my family is here and I intend to spend the rest of my life here. I’m proud to be able to serve this destination and this community.”
Larragueta was appointed Interim President and CEO in July 2023, and has been the Vice President of Sales for Reno Tahoe since 2017.
