RENO, Nev. (July 9, 2025) — Visit Reno Tahoe is welcoming travelers with live musical performances at the Reno-Tahoe International Airport ahead of iconic Northern Nevada special events as well as significant group and sporting events. In an effort to heighten the visitor experience, Visit Reno Tahoe is working with the Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority to create a vibrant atmosphere throughout the destination from arrival to departure.
“Working with tourism partners like the Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority is crucial improving how visitors perceive this destination,” said Visit Reno Tahoe President and CEO Mike Larragueta. “We’re adding a new element for thousands of travelers whose Northern Nevada experience may incorporate outdoor adventure, events, entertainment and the welcoming personalities representing the greater Reno Tahoe region. We want to help enhance a sense of arrival, so visitors feel the energy of Reno Tahoe from the moment they step off the plane.”
“Live music can turn a place of transit into a place of connection,” said Daren Griffin, President and CEO of the Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority. “Whether it’s soothing a nervous traveler or simply entertaining someone waiting to pick up their loved one, music creates moments of calm, joy, and cultural expression that remind us we’re part of something bigger than our itinerary. We thank Visit Reno Tahoe for bringing this music series to life.”
