RENO, Nev. (August 4, 2025) – Visit Reno Tahoe invites families, friends, and neighbors to lace up their bowling shoes for the Gold Ribbon Bowl at the iconic National Bowling Stadium on Sunday, August 10, 2025, from noon to 2 p.m.

This special edition of Public Bowling Days supports Northern Nevada’s youngest cancer warriors. Hosted in partnership with the Northern Nevada Children’s Cancer Foundation, the Gold Ribbon Bowl offers a fun-filled afternoon of bowling with purpose.

“Bowling for hope is always more successful with strong community support,” said Visit Reno Tahoe President and CEO Mike Larragueta. “We’re thrilled to bring the community together at the NBS for the Gold Ribbon Bowl, raising awareness and funding critical programs for those in need.”

A portion of proceeds from every lane supports the Northern Nevada Children’s Cancer Foundation in its mission to assist local families facing childhood cancer through emotional support, financial relief, and scholarships. General admission is $50 per lane for up to five bowlers, which includes shoe rentals and bowling balls. Free parking is provided in the NBS parking garage.

Public Bowling Days provide a rare chance to bowl at the world-renowned “Taj Mahal of Tenpins,” typically reserved for competitive events. Whether a casual bowler or first-timer, this is a great way to support a cause and enjoy a signature Reno Tahoe experience.
