Amanda Flangas named Executive Director of Sales; Charles Mullins joins as Regional Director of Convention Sales
RENO, Nev. (July 22, 2026) – The Reno-Sparks Convention and Visitors Authority (RSCVA), also known as Visit Reno Tahoe, has welcomed Amanda Flangas and Charles Mullins back to the organization in leadership roles supporting convention and group sales.
Flangas has been named Executive Director of Sales, bringing more than 30 years of experience in sales, hospitality, gaming, and business development. Her expertise includes strategic partnerships, convention and group sales, and client relationship management.
Flangas returns to Visit Reno Tahoe after serving as Vice President of Sales at Nugget Casino Resort and Executive Director of Sales at Atlantis Casino Resort Spa. In her new role, she leads sales initiatives that position Reno Tahoe as a premier destination for meetings, conventions, and events while supporting the organization’s mission to grow the region’s visitor economy.
Mullins joins Visit Reno Tahoe as Regional Director of Convention Sales, focusing on Northern Nevada, Northern California, and the Pacific Northwest. He brings more than 25 years of experience driving revenue growth and developing strategic partnerships within the hospitality and meetings industry.
Mullins previously secured convention and group business for Caesars Entertainment and most recently served as National Sales Assistant Director at Disney Meetings & Events. In his new role, he will develop client relationships and secure group business for Reno Tahoe and RSCVA-owned venues.
