RENO, Nev. (November 4, 2025) – Reno Tahoe invites the community to bowl for a cause at the Veterans Bowl on Sunday, Nov. 9, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the National Bowling Stadium. A portion of the proceeds will support Nevadans 4 Vets, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering Northern Nevada veterans.
The Veterans Bowl is part of Reno Tahoe’s popular Public Bowling Day series, giving the public access to the “Taj Mahal of Tenpins.” For $50 per lane (up to five bowlers), participants receive shoe rentals, bowling balls and complimentary parking.
“Supporting our veterans while having fun is a powerful combination,” said Visit Reno Tahoe President and CEO Mike Larragueta. “We’re honored to host the Veterans Bowl and help raise vital support for Nevadans 4 Vets right here in our community.”
Nevadans 4 Vets is a volunteer-run organization dedicated to raising awareness and providing financial support for programs that honor and assist Northern Nevada veterans and their families. Since its founding in 2017, the organization has supported initiatives including wreaths for veterans’ graves at the Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, scholarships, adaptive equipment and other community-based services for those who served.
Public Bowling Days such as the Veterans Bowl offer a unique opportunity to experience the National Bowling Stadium in a friendly, charitable setting — appealing to everyone from avid bowlers to first-timers.
