Cortney Young elected Chair, Clara Andriola elected Vice Chair, Glenn Carano reappointed Secretary/Treasurer
RENO, Nev. (July 2, 2026) – The Reno-Sparks Convention and Visitors Authority (RSCVA), also known as Visit Reno Tahoe, Board of Directors elected new officers who have assumed their leadership roles July 1, guiding the organization’s strategic direction and supporting the continued growth of the region’s visitor economy.
The Board elected Cortney Young as Chair, Washoe County Commissioner Chair Clara Andriola as Vice Chair, and Glenn Carano will continue serving in the Secretary/Treasurer position.
In addition, Young was appointed to continue serving on the RSCVA Board of Directors as the representative of the Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority.
“It is an honor to serve as Chair of the RSCVA Board and help advance the important work Visit Reno Tahoe is doing on behalf of our communities,” Young said. “Tourism remains an important driver of our regional economy by supporting local businesses, jobs, events, and quality-of-life amenities that benefit both residents and visitors. I look forward to working alongside my fellow board members and the Visit Reno Tahoe team as we continue building on the momentum taking place across the region.”
Young is the founder of ADR Partners, where she serves as a mediator and arbitrator for various litigated matters. Young also serves on the Washoe County Law Library and the Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority Board of Trustees. Through her leadership and advocacy efforts, she has worked closely with industry partners, elected officials, and community stakeholders to support Northern Nevada’s economy and position as a premier travel destination.
Andriola was elected to the Washoe County Commission in 2024 and represents District 4. She has served in executive leadership roles for nonprofit organizations, including 10 years as the Executive Director of the Reno Rodeo Foundation. A longtime Northern Nevada resident and business leader, she has been a strong advocate for regional collaboration, economic development, and initiatives that enhance quality of life throughout Washoe County.
Carano serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Operations Officer of Caesars Entertainment’s Northern Nevada operations. With decades of leadership experience in the gaming and hospitality industry, he continues to provide valuable insight and financial stewardship to the Board through his role as Secretary/Treasurer.

Per Nevada Revised Statutes governing county fair and recreation boards, the RSCVA Board elects officers every two years.
The RSCVA Board of Directors provides oversight and strategic guidance for Visit Reno Tahoe’s efforts to market the destination, attract meetings, conventions, sporting events, and leisure travelers, and maximize the economic benefits of tourism for the region.
