Ryan Bellows

Board Member
Ryan Bellows serves as Vice President and General Counsel for NV Energy, overseeing the company’s legal function and compliance obligations and advising the senior leadership team on strategic and legal matters. He also leads NV Energy’s outreach and collaboration with elected officials and community partners across the state.  Before joining NV Energy, Ryan practiced at the McDonald Carano Wilson law firm in Reno, Nevada, advising and training some of Nevada’s largest employers on labor and employment matters.

Mr. Bellows is an active member of the community, working with various non-profits and volunteering as a coach for youth sports in the area.  Ryan is a Trustee for the University of Nevada, Reno Foundation, serves as Chair of the Reno-Sparks Chamber of Commerce Board, as a Board Member for the National Judicial College, and serves as a Commissioner on the Nevada Tax Commission.  For the last 17 years, he has served as a Judge for the Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe handling the Tribe’s civil and juvenile matters.
