Like many of you, RSCVA staff is back in the office, continuing our work to bring visitors to Reno Tahoe. Nevada casinos reopened Thursday, allowing Northern Nevada’s major resort hotels to resume operations. Room night specifics for the month of June won’t be available until later next month, but early indications from last weekend are positive, which is exciting for our stakeholders and their employees!
We’re also encouraged by the rebound potential presented by the region’s major event facilities. Reno Tahoe’s four major, public event venues have already met the health and safety regulations outlined in Governor Sisolak’s Roadmap to Recovery, and have received conditional, operational approval from the State of Nevada Department of Business and Industry. This is great news for incoming group events, tourism, and the local economy in general.
