Reno was recently named America’s Best Small City! Resonance Consultancy, a research, strategy and marketing firm with offices in Vancouver, BC and New York City, released its annual report this week, listing “The Biggest Little City in the World” as the number one urban area with a population base of 100,000 to 500,000 people.

“America’s 100 Best Small Cities” identifies the best places in the U.S. to live, work and play, and critiques each location on place, product, programming, people, prosperity and promotion. In its top ranking of Reno, Resonance highlighted the region’s great weather and outdoor amenities, as well as Northern Nevada’s burgeoning tech industry, attractive nightlife, arts and culture, and regional meetings and events facilities.
