RENO, Nev. (December 2, 2021) – Visit Reno Tahoe marketing programs recently earned platinum and gold honors in the 2021 MarCom Awards, an annual international program that recognizes excellence in marketing and communications.

Receiving a Platinum Award in the Digital Media/Social Media category, the “Reignite the Night in Reno Tahoe” neon social video incorporates saturated colors, neon overlays and light flare effects that highlight the vibrancy of the destination. Platinum Awards are the highest honor in the MarCom Awards.

Reno Tahoe’s “Recharge in Reno Tahoe” marketing campaign received a Gold Award in the Strategic Communications/Marketing/Promotion Campaign category. Launched in early 2021, “Recharge in Reno Tahoe” showcases the modern renewal of Northern Nevada’s entertainment and outdoor offerings, while paying tribute to destination’s traditional persona and recent efforts toward a broad recovery for travel and tourism.

MarCom Awards recognizes outstanding achievement by creative professionals involved in the concept, direction, design and production of marketing and communication materials and programs. This year, MarCom Awards received more than 6,000 entries from throughout the United States, Canada and 39 countries, selecting winners from over 300 categories in Print, Web, Video and Strategic Communications.
